We encourage you to visit our "Factory Authorized" dealers to explore the world
of the Hawk Trailer. Don't worry about receiving a high-pressure sales pitch.
Hawk is more concerned about the safety and comfort of the horse and the ease
of handling for the owner. For this reason, each of our dealers has trained
professional people on staff who know how to ask and answer all the important
questions. Our dealers work hard to identify your needs and concerns so Hawk
Trailers can provide the proper trailer for you and your horses.
2. Hawk Trailers is a custom design manufacturer. To us the term" customization"
seems to compliment the term "customer driven." So we have expanded our
business to include specialty trailers. Much like ordering options on a
vehicle, Hawk can modify standard model horse trailers with the features you
require. But unlike many of our competitors, Hawk can design and build trailers
for specific needs as well.

This tri-axle trailer was designed and built by Hawk Trailers
to be a Mobile Command Post for Waupaca County in Wisconsin. In the event of
any type of emergency, this unit can be towed to the site to act as a
communication and crew organization headquarters that at one time could only be
performed at a more permanent location. Hawk teamed up with the knowledgeable
people from Waupaca County Emergency Government to make the project a success.
3. Hawk is focused on taking care of our customers even after the sale. We
strive to develop a lasting relationship with you in order to provide you with
many years of enjoyable, safe, equine transportation.

Hawk Provides Custom Color Matching:
Every Hawk trailer is carefully hand masked to create the "unique" Hawk stripe.
The frame, fenders, accent stripe, roof radius and ramps of the trailer are
also painted. Hawk Trailers uses Dupont Chroma One automotive finishes. Unique
to Hawk is our ability to match the paint of any vehicle to give your trailer
an attractive, coordinating finish, and for no additional cost.
Standard body colors on the Hawk trailer is your choice of white or
silver aluminum. Black aluminum, stainless steel, and fully
painted body colors are available as an option.

Hawk's Superior Construction:
1. Hawk frames, sidewalls and interior parts are made with galvanized steel.
This is superior to traditional mild steel parts, which are prone to rusting.
Galvanized steel is also superior to aluminum parts, because aluminum flexes
more than galvanized steel and the raw aluminum oxidizes and requires acid
washing. Hawk's galvanized steel frames are the strongest in the industry.
2. All standard horse area parts are Powder Coated and fully removable. Powder
coating provides a consistent, durable high quality finish that is resistant to
scratching and chemicals.
a. Defining the Powder Coating process - In preparation for the powder coating
process, the parts undergo several stages of acid washing. Then finely ground
particles of pigment and resin are electro statically charged and sprayed onto
the parts. The parts coated are grounded so the charged particles sprayed at
them adhere to the part and are held there until they are melted and fused into
a smooth coating in a curing oven.
b. Fully Removable Parts -
1. In the Side by Side models, the removable parts include the Breast and Butt
bars, Center Divider, Head Divider, front Vertical post, and saddle racks.
2. In the Slant Load models, the removable parts include the Slant divider, the
Breast and Butt bars, and the saddle racks.

Hawk installs Rumber Floors upon request:
The very popular Rumber floor option is available on all our Hawk models. This
material replaces the wood floor in the horse area. It is made of 65% recycled
rubber, and 35% recycled plastics.
The Rumber floor carries a 20 year warranty. Rumber floors will not rot, crack
or splinter. They are easy to clean, and will improve the resale value of your
trailer because of the extended life of the floor.
Most aluminum horse trailers have aluminum floors with rubber mats on top.
Owners of these trailers are advised to remove the floor mats and acid wash the
floor every 60 days or the warranty will be void.
With the Rumber floor, there is no need for floor mats because this 1 1/2"
thick material has a traction surface. It provides horses with a footing that
will reduce stress on their legs and joints. Plus, with a Rumber floor, you
will never have to remove floor mats again.

Hawk uses Black "T" Coating:
To keep your trailer looking new for many years, Hawk has pioneered the use of
Black "T" Coated parts to prevent rust and corrosion. Special attention has
been given to the Ramp latch arms, 2-point latches, Butterfly latches, and all
the mounting hardware. The unique Black "T" Coating on these parts provide the
strength of steel and optimal corrosion resistance with eye appeal. Superior to
a painted surface, parts coated with "T" coating resist scratching. No harsh
chemicals will affect the finish of the part.
The black "T" coating was developed over 20 years ago for the military as a thin
corrosive resistant material incorporating engineered carbons to fit severe
weapons needs. It is also used in the marine technologies to prevent corrosion
of boat and yacht parts that are exposed to salty seawater.
Every new Hawk trailer has this improvement. This will provide increased value
and a higher return on the investment when it comes time to sell or upgrade to
another Hawk Trailer.

Hawk Trailers have Fiberglass Roofs:
Here at Hawk Trailers, we manufacture our horse trailers with a one piece
molded, steel reinforced fiberglass roof. All our trailers from the two-horse
bumper pull, to the six horse gooseneck models have the same roof construction.
We find this roof to be superior over the traditional steel roofs and the
aluminum roofs.
The 6 inch radius is painted the custom accent color of the trailer. The top of
the roof remains white to reflect the suns rays and keeps the trailer more
climate controlled for the horses.
Hawks fiberglass roof construction is superior for a number of reasons. The
one-piece molded roof made of fiberglass overlaps the aluminum skin of the
trailer and prevents water from coming in. Both steel and aluminum roofs have
seams in them that will separate over time. The steel roof will leak and rust
while the aluminum roof will tend to separate and leak.
Also, fiberglass is not a heat conductor and therefore has proven to be cooler
than the rest. Painted steel roofs tend to be dark inside and are very hot in
the summer time. The aluminum roof will generally dissipate the heat but is
still hot to the touch.
And finally, steel reinforcement in our fiberglass roof provides exceptional
support. The roof is strong enough for people to walk on top of. Don't try that
with a steel or aluminum roof. In the event of a rollover, the steel reinforced
fiberglass roof maintains its shape and will not collapse. This could mean a
reduction in possible injury to the horses inside.
